Operation Backpack is dedicated to providing backpacks, school supplies and funding academic enrichment to unhoused and underprivileged children. This initiative runs now through September 2024 and has helped distribute 50,000 backpacks.

Michael and Son is proud to be helping with this initiative and is planning to give away a portion of all proceeds to the cause, up to $10,000 throughout the month of August.

Michael & Son Services is committed to supporting local schools and communities. Since 2010, we have created the Michael & Son Cares Foundation as well as the Annual Jingle Contest which has raised a combined $1,000,000 in donations and essential home services. Michael & Son is proud to be a part of these communities and looks forward to continuing to give back in any way that they can.

Key Dates: 7/26 @ 1:30pm - Michael & Son will be helping the PG County Sheriff's department at the Operation Backpack Ice Cream Social at Beacon Hill Elementary

Key Dates: 8/2 @ 4:00pm - Michael & Son will be packing backpacks at the YH Thomas Community center in Hampton Virginia.
