On September 27, 2016, Michael & Son lost one of our own to cardiac arrest. To honor our friend and colleague, Joe Lomax Jr., we have rebranded our golf tournament to the Joe Lomax Classic.

Michael & Son will host our next Joe Lomax Classic at Devils Ridge Golf Club in Holly Springs, NC on September 22nd, 2025. We’ll have food, beverages, and of course, plenty of golf! So if you’d like to enjoy a day in the sun and support a great cause while you’re at it, come join us!
This year’s Joe Lomax Classic will accept a maximum of 100 participants.
The Proceeds of This Year’s Joe Lomax Classic Goes to Abby’s Army.
The Abby’s Army foundation is dedicated to supporting children and families affected by and fighting pediatric cancer.
The foundation’s goal is to help allow every child diagnosed with cancer to continue being a child.
The Joe Lomax Classic 2025 Participant Information
- Team of Four Entry: $600
- Individual Players Entry: $160
Individuals and Teams of Four Receive:
- One round of golf
- Breakfast and lunch provided
- Unlimited snacks and beverages during event
